What is Davet? Online wedding and nikah invitations you send on WhatsApp

What is it?

Davet (davet.top) is an online invitation maker for weddings, nikah (katb al-kitab), henna nights, engagements, aqiqah, newborn and graduation celebrations, in Arabic, Turkish and English. You design an animated digital invitation, publish it on your own link, send every guest a personal link with their name on WhatsApp, and follow who opened it and who is coming.

What can you do with it?

  • Ready templates in Arabic, Turkish and English, with bilingual invitations
  • Gregorian and Hijri dates together
  • A personal link for every guest, with the guest's own name on the invitation
  • Sending on WhatsApp, with a ready message in each guest's language
  • RSVP, guest counts and a guest list you can change by hand when someone apologises
  • A report of who opened the invitation, how many times and when
  • Venue map, countdown, background music and a ceremony programme
  • A gift section that shows the couple's IBAN
  • A shared album: guests send photos and videos in full quality (Premium and Gold)
  • QR check-in at the door on the day (Premium and Gold)
  • A free 3-day trial for every invitation, then a one-time package
  • Who is it for? Anyone who wants an elegant invitation in Arabic, Turkish, English or two languages together, with a Hijri date if needed, and wants to know who opened it and who is coming, without a designer and without the guest installing an app.

Questions

Is Davet free?

Every invitation starts with a free 3-day trial with all features (up to 15 guests, without the day-of-wedding features). After that you choose a one-time package (Basic, Premium or Gold) for that invitation; there is no subscription.

How many guests can I invite?

Basic allows up to 50 guests, Premium up to 150 and Gold has no limit. The count is in people: a guest who confirms three people counts as three.

How does each guest get their own invitation?

Davet gives every guest a personal link that shows their name. You paste your guest list and send each link on WhatsApp with one tap, in a ready message in the guest's language.

Can I see who opened the invitation and who is coming?

Yes. The guest list shows each guest's answer and last activity; opening a guest shows when the invitation was sent, how many times it was opened and when. If a guest apologises in a message you can set their attendance by hand, and their own answer is kept.

Does it support the Hijri date and Arabic?

Yes. Dates can be Gregorian, Hijri or both, and invitations can be in Arabic, Turkish, English or two languages together.

Can I change the invitation after sending it?

Yes. Changes appear on the same link, so there is nothing to resend.

How do I pay?

Prices are one-time, per invitation, in Turkish lira. Payment is by bank transfer (IBAN) with the receipt sent on WhatsApp; the invitation is activated by hand, usually within a few hours.
