How to Choose an Online Invitation Service: 8 Questions Before You Pay
Many services look alike in screenshots; the difference appears when you start sending invitations and following replies. These questions help you decide before paying.
1. Does it support your language and calendar?
Check that Arabic is shown with the right direction and font, that a Hijri date is available next to the Gregorian one, and that the invitation can be bilingual if your guests speak two languages.
2. Does each guest get a personal link?
One public link means you cannot tell who opened it or replied. A personal link shows the guest's name and makes tracking accurate.
3. Can you see who opened it, and when?
Look for a report showing, for each guest, when the invitation was sent and how many times it was opened, so you can remind those who have not opened it a week before.
4. How many guests does the price include?
Some packages cap guests; count people, not families. At Davet, Basic allows up to 50 guests, Premium up to 150 and Gold is unlimited.
5. One-time payment or subscription?
A monthly subscription is rarely right for a one-day event. Ask whether the invitation stays live after payment and whether you pay per invitation.
6. Can you change it after sending?
Edits should appear on the same link so you never resend if the hall or the time changes.
7. Does it help on the day itself?
A shared album that collects guests' photos and videos in full quality, QR check-in at the door, and a gift section that shows your IBAN.
8. Is sending on WhatsApp easy?
You should be able to send the whole list with ready messages in each guest's language and a nice picture in the link preview.
